Requirements and Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Automation:
Design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like
Terraform or CloudFormation. Develop automated solutions for provisioning, deployment, and scaling of
applications. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Python and Node. js-based projects. Ensure smooth integration of code changes and automate the release process. Configuration Management:
Utilize configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet to streamline
system configuration and updates. Monitoring and Logging:
Set up monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of
applications. Implement logging solutions for tracking and analyzing system and application logs. Collaboration:
Work closely with development teams to understand project requirements and
provide DevOps support. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize and enhance the overall
development workflow. Security:
Implement security best practices in infrastructure and application deployment. Conduct regular security audits and take necessary measures to address
Vulnerabilities. Cloud Services:
Proficient in using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for
deploying and managing applications.
Scripting:
Strong scripting skills in Python for automation and task automation. Experience with Node.js scripting for specific project requirements. Version Control:
Manage version control systems, such as Git, and ensure code repositories are
well-maintained. Collaboration Tools:
Familiarity with collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, and Slack for effective
communication and project management.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in relevant DevOps tools and platforms.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, and Kubernetes.)
Proven experience with CI/CD tools like Red Hat Ansible, Prometheus, Microsoft GitHub, Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins.
Practical familiarity with public cloud resources and services, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud. (Preferred AWS)
