Responsibilities:
• Leading and managing a team of engineers, designers, and researchers in developing new products and technologies.
• Setting research and development goals, objectives, and strategies in alignment with the company's overall vision and objectives.
• Overseeing the entire product development process from concept ideation to prototype testing to final production.
• Conducting market research and staying up to date on industry trends to identify new opportunities for innovation.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless product development and launch.
• Managing budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Ensuring that all products meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
• Encouraging a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement within the R&D team.
• Building and maintaining relationships with external partners, suppliers, and research institutions to leverage expertise and resources.
• Reporting on R&D activities, progress, and results to senior management and stakeholders.
