Position Summary:

Contiem is looking for an HR Manager to actively contribute to the next phase of its growth journey. S/he will bring in strategic experience to drive talent acquisition at pace, own policies and processes, engage with managers and leaders to drive employee involvement and be the "Way we Work" champion in India.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition

  • Establish guidelines for recruiting and interviewing; counsel managers on candidate selection.
  • Manage the recruitment process, from role creation to onboarding and orientation.
  • Manage recruitment partners to drive optimal performance.
  • Provide oversight to the Recruitment Associate to ensure coordination with candidates, recruitment vendors, interviews, and managers, and seamless engagement with global stakeholders.
  • Oversee new hire onboarding, orientation, and training plans identified during the hiring process.
  • Provide relevant recruitment data reports.

HR Management

  • Create, update, implement, and reinforce established Human Resource policies and procedures; ensure that the policies are efficiently communicated across the company and the Employee Handbook is kept current.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and morale.
  • Lead the performance review effort, and manage the half-yearly review process across all eligible employees. initiate merit increases and promotions. Responsible for employee professional development.
  • Manage and coordinate employee exits, terminations and offboarding, performance improvement plans, and organizational changes.
  • Manage employee relations, address grievances, disciplinary actions, with confidentiality.
  • Ensure HR & labor law compliance by implementing applicable Tamil Nadu state and Contiem requirements.
  • Identify training needs, and facilitate training sessions and workshops as needed.
  • Manage the benefits program. Work with brokers to provide the highest quality benefits for the employees while maintaining affordability for the company.
  • Oversee the maintenance of HRIS (Human Resources Information System) for accurate and up-to-date employee records. Generate reports for management and compliance purposes.
  • Maintain employee personnel records, resume database, and employee skills, including other tracking mechanisms to provide data points and reports to support the corporate strategy and company growth goals.
  • Coordinate with payroll administrators to ensure that compensation, merit, and bonus changes are implemented timely and correctly.
  • Work alongside Corporate HR for all HR matters as required.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviews professional publications, and establishes personal networks.

Experience and Skills

  • MBA in HR or a higher degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent field.
  • Twelve plus years of leadership/management experience in human resource positions.
  • Experience in the administration of benefit and compensation programs.
  • Must have executed complete Recruitment Process and Performance Management Cycles
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong English skills - ability to write policies and communicate effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills - spoken, verbal, and written.

Reporting:

This position reports to the Managing Director, Contiem, India.

Work Hours:

This is a full-time, in-office, position with hours of operations from Monday to Friday, between 9:30am to 6pm.
