Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive the growth of our engineering products within the market.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in achieving sales targets, managing a high-performing sales team, and developing strategic plans to
expand market share. Distributor management is a key requirement for this role.

Director of Sales Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy and Planning:

- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company sales targets.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with senior management to set sales goals and objectives aligned with the overall business strategy.
2. Team Leadership:

- Lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Provide coaching, guidance, & training to ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds sales targets.
3. Customer Relationship Management:

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers and Distributors.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the customer base.
4. Distributor Management:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, ensuring effective
collaboration and communication.
- Implement strategies to enhance distributor performance and drive revenue growth.
- Evaluate distributor effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
5. Sales Operations:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales department.
- Implement effective sales processes, monitor key performance indicators, and analyse sales data to make informed business decisions.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and Megger Industry Directors, to align strategies and achieve overall company objectives.
6. Budget Management:

- Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve sales goals.
- Monitor expenses, analyse variances, and implement cost-control measures as needed.

Sales Director Requirements and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
2. Proven experience as a Sales Director or Sales Manager in a similar leadership role within the engineering product industry.
3. Strong understanding of engineering products & market dynamics
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
