Rupicard- Product Manager

Location: Bangalore.

Working Days: 5 Days WFO

Experience: 2+yr

Role: The Product Manager is responsible for product planning, delivery and marketing throughout the product lifecycle.
They will develop a vision and roadmap for the product based on input from internal stakeholders, customers, market research and their own industry insight. They will work closely with Development/Engineering and other teams to deliver products that align with this vision, meet market needs and are delivered to a consistently high-quality standardThey will develop a forecast for the product based on input from marketing, sales, market analysts and their own experience and manage its delivery.They will identify the key benefits and value of products. This will be used to create and maintain marketing plans and collateral (including web updates, product training materials and sales training).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap
  • Manage the product throughout its lifecycle from concept to end-of-life
  • Collect, manage and maintain traceability of requirements from all stakeholders across product releases
  • Write the business case for investments and gain internal approval
  • Propose a product marketing plan and budget and then deliver against it
  • Write Product Requirements and Market Requirements documents
  • Work with internal stakeholders and third parties to assess and establish partnerships
  • Be the recognized expert in the business on the product, the market, relevant technology and the competition
  • Develop core positioning and messaging for the product
  • Perform product demos to customers and develop relationships in key clients (if B2C)
  • Lead the virtual product team to ensure delivery of agreed objectives

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's / Masters degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field (Top tier colleges - preferred).
  2. Proven experience as a product manager or similar role, with a track record of successfully launching and managing software products.
  3. Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making and measure the impact of product initiatives.
  4. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  5. Experience working in an agile development environment, with a deep understanding of agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira).
  6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
  7. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  8. A passion for technology and innovation, with a keen interest in staying ahead of the curve and driving continuous improvement.
