About the Assistant Sales Manager position
Job Description and responsibilities
- To develop new business in select market segments as per pre-defined targets in allocated geographical region. This may involve certain amount of outstation travel necessary to close the deal.
- To understand the appropriate offering that can be offered to which clients
- To identify pain points in specific market segments, and use this to leverage our products
- To provide regular follow up + after sales interaction to customers as required
- To handle acquired new accounts as well as existing portfolio clients and ensure repeat business/retention
- To be involved in the overall sales and strategy and business expansion.
- Prior experience in B2B sales of any product is mandatory
- Selling of packaging/ manufacturing based products is preferred
- Language: English & Hindi mandatory. Regional languages are also welcome as areas can be assigned accordingly
