Role - Investment Counsellor

Location - Bangalore

Mode - WFO - 5 Days

Experience- 5+ years

The role of a Investment Counsellor includes :

Investment strategy:
 Define Investment strategy, and asset allocation basis the prevailing market conditions.
 Up to date with Equity and Debt markets.

Product Selection:
 Develop and manage the fund selection models.
 Product Due diligence to understand the qualitative aspects of the products and download it to the sales team.

Financial Planning and Wealth Protection:
 Financial goal setting and planning and preparing investment proposals for clients.
 Asset allocation and Portfolio construction Strategy Formulation
 Portfolio review and rebalancing as and when required.
 Engaging with the business Directors and Sales Teams and helping in product penetration via research support.

Knowledge Requirement:
 Knowledge of all the Asset classes – Equity, Fixed income, Structured Products, Real Estate, Commodities, and
International Markets.
 In-depth knowledge of Wealth Management products - Mutual Funds, Portfolio Management Service Providers,
Alternative Investment Funds, Listed Investments & Insurance.
 Knowledge of taxation, and tax implications for various investment products.
 Functional understanding of Research and Portfolio Software like Morning Star, Invest Well, Bloomberg, etc.

 Strong analytical and interpretative skills, Integrity, Ability to establish trust, Self-driven, Team Player, Team
Management, Networking Ability, Ability to work under time pressure and adhere to deadlines.
 Should Lead and Drive the Team toward Organizational Goals.
 Set Portfolio Review Standards on Quality and product recommendations.
 Actively manage desk risk via strong checks on Risk profiling, Product selection, and portfolio construction

Team Management:
 Strong Analytical, Presentation skills and MIS reporting are required & should be able to present to Senior Management
the desk investment policies and strategies.
 Ability to read product performances and eye for detailing. Functional and Technical skills to evaluate product and
client portfolios and guide the team.
 Review Team portfolio presentation month on month. Train team on new concepts and product ideas
 Work along with the Sales team and other channels to achieve targeted growth.

Technical (Software / IT related) Skills:
 Strong Excel workflow and Presentation skills.
