Role Overview:

Qapita is seeking an experienced and talented Senior UI/UX Designer to join our growing team. We are a fast-paced, innovative software development company dedicated to providing user-friendly and engaging web-based applications to our clients. Our ideal candidate is passionate about creating visually appealing and user-centred designs and possesses strong leadership qualities to lead a team of 6 designers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 6 UI/UX designers, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality output.
• Collaborate with product management, business, and other stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into visually appealing and user-friendly designs.
• Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web-based software applications, focusing on usability and user experience.
• Utilize industry-standard tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), and other design software to create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs.
• Participate in design reviews and present design solutions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and iterate designs.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends and technologies to ensure designs are modern, innovative, and effective.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. Master's Degree in Design or a related field is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design for software applications. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), and other relevant software.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design work for web-based applications.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring a design team.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and solutions to various stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Passionate about creating user-centred designs that provide seamless user experiences.
