Role: Assistant Manager - Finance

Experience: 2 - 5 years

Location: Gurgaon || WFO

About the Role: Will be responsible for the recording of financial transaction, payments, reconciliation and settlement activities within the organisation and assisting with various departmental queries.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years’ experience working in a startup in similar profiles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Problem-solving and detail oriented.
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to identify errors & work to deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Be an active member in monthly closing of books for revenue, expenses, and all related metrics.
  • Reconciling payments from different sources (OTA, B2C etc.) & verticals to ensure the accounting system reflects the correct transactions.
  • Assist and Lead automation projects to ensure that reconciliation and settlement processes are seamless and support the growing business.
  • Knowledge of GST and TDS.
  • Recording financial business transactions in accounting software.
  • Understanding changing demand of business and coordinating with various departments.
